Nice planter boxes.   I got golfers problem too.  Been feeding them hot peppers  :smt003
Cover the hole or hide the flag Sonny. That’ll piss them off☺️

Tried that but no gain from "pissing them off"  :smt009
Definitely a job for Bill Murray. Lol

I tried the below suggestion and it seems to be working.  Lucky I have no pets right now but a little worry about the neighbors' cats:

"For gophers and moles, sprinkle hot pepper powder at the entrance of their tunnels. Do not spray in an area visited by your pets or children. Wear a mask so you don't inhale the spray - pepper sprays, including homemade ones, can cause respiratory distress. Store pepper sprays out of reach of children."

Just order the Cayenne Pepper today...

Made some custom gaff/kages.  316 SS, threaded at the tip for attachment hook/spear, epoxied with inlayed square nut.  Fun project.  :smt006

Very nice  :smt007  Are you consider selling one of them?  I am interested.

Thanks!  I've considered making some for sale - not too certain of the right cost.  These were all gifts for my fishing buddies in an effort to kharma-swap some fish mojo.  They are fun to make (Im getting better too) and I would be willing to contract out a few of these if there is interest.  Of course everything could be customized from the type of wood, the length, the attachments, handle color, type of leash, etc.  The supply chain for steel is not good right now, so it will take time.  I dont really have access to a metal supply shop that has 316 SS so I have to order.  That said, once I have all of the materials, the build will take me 3-4 weekends - mostly curing time for the finish.

Thanks for considering.  I am in no hurry as I have several gaffs already but would like to "collect" the "beauty" ones  :smt001

Cool cool.  Ill begin looking around at materials and see what I can find.   :smt006

Nice! I've had that idea before, nice to see it put to practice.  I'm also thinking of other things to put on those, like rubberized nets, tarpon hooks, powerheads, etc.  Would be nice to have a quick release quick exchange of attachments somehow as well.

Definitely...  All you need to attach them is a female 3/8" coupling nut attached to whatever you want.  I considered trying to find a quick-connect system, but quick-connects are typically used for pressure systems and the threading is slightly tapered, making attachment more difficult.  That would be really cool to be able to just pop off whatever attachment and quick-connect on another one.

I got deployed into the field so I’m no longer working from home, progress slowed but still plugging away.

55 years of bumps, bruises and screw holes to fill in, patch up and smooth over. Also filling in the little channel that follows the perimeter of the sole, collets a lot of dirt, grime and crushed bait....always hated it.   It’ll be getting a fresh skin of 1708 over the top to seal it up, planning to have that done by this weekend.

..........agarcia is just an ex-kayaker

I've posted several photos of a stone sitting wall I built around a playground set.  Here's the progress on my retaining wall on the back side of the house.  I have a lot of back fill dirt to haul in still, maybe 20 yards or so.  Once filled, the wall will be 3 stones tall plus the cap stone, totaling 20" tall.  Just right for sitting.

Thats a boat bro  :smt005

Really?  The last picture shows like a rectangular bathtub.   Guess I am wrong  :smt003

Finished a guitar and amp.

Now on to more boring stuff like sealing sidewalk cracks and planting more beets.
