Will the Bean be open after the MPA's are in place?  Beautiful fish guys.

Pat -

I believe BH will not be closed by the MPA at least not by my reading of the maps. As far as the wolf eel, I would have released that one. The only eel I want to see is on a piece of anago sushi or at the Monterey Bay aquarium

Yeah, I considered releasing it, but didn't want to use some irrational, emotionally charged reasoning to release it when nobody bats an eye at keeping 10 rockfish and 2 lings. And I assure you, unagi sushi doesn't grow on trees...
May the fish be mighty and the seas be meek...

IMHO... It's cool to catch and keep anything that's legal as long as you're going to eat it .... whether it's a wolf eel, thresher, or anything else. :smt003

Pat, Bean Hollow was not in the central region, it is in north central. It is "in play" for the current round of MLPA fun.

Everyone that is reading this report and fishing Bean Hollow remember that when we ask you for help.
