2020 AOTY Entry

I had a question posted here. To avoid any confusion from my question it is gone. Check post 8 for details on how to pay for 2020 AOTY

Would like to know this as well. Wanted to start fishing within the next few weeks for 2020 AOTY

I think any fishes caught within the first 2 weeks after the New Year are eligible provided you paid for the AOTY when the link becomes available.

Opps, already paid using that button.  Let me know if I need to undo that somehow.

21st place last year, but, ominously, 666 points.  I am coming for you top scorers this year!
Also, I have one eager junior fisherman (BlueLorcan) and one reluctant one (RedStorm) who would rather be playing video games than fishing with his Dad on weekend mornings who will be competing this year.

That button belongs to a PayPal account I set up years ago that I do not want to use anymore for a variety of reasons.

I have been wanting to shut it down for awhile now but haven't since no one has come up with an alternative account to collect AOTY/DOTY fees.

If you already paid there you are all good and SinCoast will activate your account, but if you haven't paid yet please don't use that button.

The AOTY committee needs to figure out a new method of collecting fees.

Attached is a screenshot of the payments that have come in since 12/31.

Hopefully the AOTY committee guys can figure out an alternative soon and I can shut this PayPal down, along with the checking account I established for it that accrues a monthly service fee.

At the risk of sounding silly, was looking to get signed up as I have a couple of floats planned before the end of the month. With waiting for a new process, would any fish caught count if you haven’t already paid?

We’ll activate accounts for everybody who has already paid with the old button. But please stop using that link on the NCKA homepage & AOTY/DOTY rules pages. Those links will be updated soon hopefully.

I just setup a Paypal Pool (a newish feature) that we will use for 2020 AOTY & DOTY entry fees [contributions to the Pool]. This will allow us to get away from the old account that Big Jim setup years ago. Then perhaps establish a new/better way to process entry fees in the near future. At least, that’s the plan I just came up with since nobody else wants to deal with it...

Well I jumped the gun and used the old button. I apologize for that. I just used the new button to pay for Sam’s entry and it was very easy to use!
