Elk Raffle Prize Thread

OK folks... it's that time of year again. 

I'm looking for any and all donations for the raffle at the Elk tournament.  Please post here if you can offer or solicit prizes for the raffle.  I'll keep track of it and assemble the master list.  If there's a business that should be solicited but that you can't personally get to, post it here so someone else can solicit.

See attachment for a letter that can be provided to supporting businesses if needed.

In past years, we've had outstanding raffles at this event due to tons of very generous gift donations.  Last year we had a goal of raising $1000 for Coastside which was absolutely smashed when we raised over $1600.  I'm challenging you all to raise the bar even further, and top the $2000 mark this year! 

With the MLPA process working now working over our northern coast, we should be be working extra hard to support our advocates in Coastside and the ASA lobbyists in Washington. 

Each donation of $5 will recieve one raffle ticket.  Start saving your fives now!  Must be present to win, or be represented by someone who you trust to bring you your prize(s).  Tickets will only be sold at the Elk tournament.  Drawing will be held after dinner on Saturday evening.

I saw the gigantic Sheriff at the Bones Roadhouse BBQ place in Gualala on the last day of May. I would have said hello but it seemed he was with his wife and daughter. I didn't want to interupt the big man.

Great... arm wrestling el sheriff gigantesco... what has this thread come to.

Anyway... I got two gift certificates each out of the Outdoor Pro Shop and Western Sport Shop.

Anyone else have any updates?  Time is growing near.

Judy and Bonnie, owners of Wil's Bait & Tackle were very generous in supporting the raffle last year, and they came through again this year with a tried and true classic rod and reel combo.  Ugly Stick Tiger 20-50# rod and a Penn 209M Reel loaded with what looks like 20# line. 

They are big supporters of Coastside, and have the best and most ethical sport fishing charter boat fleet in the area.  They've been struggling a bit to make ends meet these last couple of years, so please show your gratitude by stopping in and buying some bait or tackle from them next time you head up the coast.
