That's a good point Chris... buy lots of tickets = win lots of prizes.  It works for Chris every year.

Don't think about this as merely buying raffle tickets... because if you don't already make an annual donation to Coastside, consider this to be the time that you make your donation, and you'll have a chance at some excellent prizes for doing so. 

We all benefit from Coastside... and it's more than just the message boards (which I'd be willing to bet that most of us use on a regular basis).  We all should be making donations to them at least annually to keep their advocacy efforts strong to preserve our sportfishing rights in California.

well said eric,  we can not lose sight of the big picture.

I'm still putting in 12 jigs for the raffle but I will have to mail out the second half of them (or delivered to the MBK tourny). I have 6 poured, painted and sealed. I was having trouble with my clay mold from pouring too hot. I'll have the aluminum mold delivered by the time I get back from Elk and it should produce an even better product.

Stop at outdoor proshop on my home yesterday. Pickup some lures for for the derby and a couple of items for the raffle. Erick add a fillet knife and a Gloomis logo hat to prize list. SEE ya there!

I've got an art piece I'll bring up to donate to the raffle. A maori moko inspired woodburn about 24" long. Image is a lingcod with a handmade bone & feather lure added to the piece for "gusto"...
