skunked on salmon, hit by a boat, and caught my PB Lingcod

Hey guys, hope this video provides a little entertainment and reminds all that boat/kayak safety is no joke. Always be aware of your surroundings. Lucky that nobody was hurt out there. Thanks to everyone who helped and checked to make sure everything was ok. A lot of knowledgeable and helpful people on this board and I am grateful for that. Stay safe out there and tight lines!

I hope you got his CF Number and report him to the HMB Harbor Master or USCG.  That Ass hole should pay for his action.

that's crazy and glad you were okay. I had a few close call with boaters lately and I have flashing lights and flags. Some people don't care.

by the way, way to keep your cool...if it was me, I would have motor over there and ummm yeah wouldn't be pretty. I would have done the same if I was on the water and saw it happen.

Stunning how 1) just oblivious their faces look when they pass by, and 2) that it looks like they didn't even stop to see if you were OK. Hopefully that just ended up on the cutting room floor?

Glad you didn't get injured.  I think you are a much nicer person than I am.
If I would get hit by a boat,  I would call Coast Guard and report him on the spot.  It is a hit and run incident.
Also, I would be too upset to continue fishing and chase the boater and let him have it.
Since he was operating a powerboat, it is definitely his fault 100%.

Glad you are alright. I would try to keep my cool, but it would be pretty hard after someone hits me, intentionally or not. Try to check your haul and make sure there are no small cracks that could get worst like small hairline cracks. Glad you recovered and got a nice filthy PB ling out of it. Congrats.
