Tips for cleaning fish finder?

Anyone have any good (easy) methods for cleaning salt water deposits, etc from the fish finder?  Googling result in tons of videos from guys spraying vinegar on paper towels and letting it soak on the screen, to guys using car products and scrubbing the screen.

TAP Plastics.... acid brush , a microfiber cloth.. and die electric grease... and air blower if u have a compressor.

But I’m old school ... just soap and water and a air blower.

Soak a paper towel with vinegar, put it on the screen, push it down to eliminate any air bubbles, and leave it on the screen for 10-15 minutes.  Then wash the screen with Windex or some other glass cleaner.  Getting rid of those mineral and salt deposits will make it way easier for you to read the screen of your fish finder. Clean the screen every trip or so.

An old toothbrush, some warm water, and diluted dish soap (Dawn-ETC.).

You can even get an anti-glare version too. It works pretty good in my opinion.
After that I rinse every time after the salt (freshwater not so much) then use just original Windex for the screen.

after clean.....apply some lemon oil/ pledge to the screen. it might bring it close to new.

GoPro says to lick the lens to clean it. That should work for a FF screen too, provided you're really into licking.

Rinse, dry, use CRT cleaner with anti fog/water repellent. Works well....

36 grit sandpaper usually works for me, some of the tougher deposits I just media blast.
