Just went to place the order and it says sold out.

I spoke to Parviz yesterday about purchasing an open cell this weekend.

He said our group bought 50 of them.

You might want to call him.

It did this morning and last night. The wife fixed that problem this morning when she called them. I don't think they were aware.  I think I know what I am getting for Christmas.

Didn't think of the SS interfering with the transducer that you mentioned in the previous thread. I have a 2019 Outback and was thinking of using the scupper hole in front of the seat but it's right next to the Guardian Trans shield where the transducer is. Using a Dragonfly 4 Pro.

Forgot about that thread,  nobody mentioned purchasing in the beginning,  also very few instances.  So I lost interest. More than anything I  couldn't live with myself if I took someone on the water and they got hit.

I have the identical set up.  I plan to use this guys approach for deployment.

Make sure to leash or secure it using the attached Velcro straps to your yak.
If you flip and its not secured like in the vid its going to sink to the bottom of the ocean.

Mine won't fit in any of the scupper holes on my old P-15, so I just tie it with some cords to the outside near the side handle, and flop it into the yak when near launch. Tye it high enough to keep the head out of the water.   It might create less drag to tie it off further aft, but I think one of the main advantages of having a SS is the (relative) peace of mind it gives me and being able to glance at the green light is worth a little drag.
I wrote a post maybe 6 mos ago about a little problem I had with the on-off knob, which either came from the factory slightly loose or became loose, allowing salt water to enter past the O-rings at the bottom of the knob and corrode the magnet embedded in the underside of the knob, preventing it from activating the interior switch when the knob was turned to the on position.  Don't be tempted to loosen the screw on the knob so it turns more easily, unless you just can't move it,  and I suggest just dunking it in a bucket of fresh water before storing, rather than spraying it with a hose, which might force water past the O ring.  I was able to get a replacement knob free from SS in about a week.
I do like the neoprene bag that came with mine, but other kinds of bags would work - maybe make one out of a Trader Joe's padded cooler bag - just something you can stuff it into as you land, and either hide inside a hatch or take to your car with your fish ( depending on whether you land in a "high crime area", I guess).

How long did it take for those of you who got it,meaning how long was shipping?
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it
