I velcro mine behind the CT Vantage seat on the left side (personal preference).  Its easy to deploy after doing a surf launch and easy to pull back into the rear cargo area before doing a surf re-entry.  I ruled out putting the tail inside the scupper hole because I regularly forget to bring the tail in during surf re-entries and off course prevent damage from being dragged underneath the hull.

Got mine today.  How do you all store it after use?  I'm not spending 30-50 bucs on the shark shield carrying bag.  Thinking about getting a neoprene laptop bag instead for storage.  Should work.  Thanks again for this great deal to make the community safer.
