my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

I do love fishing Lake Tahoe. I never see anyone else there when I fish. Granted it’s usually in freezing weather with snow on the ground  :smt044

I've never fished Tahoe but really want to try there or Caples for mackinaw. My brother and I were planning on fishing there Labor Day weekend. Would love to pick your brain on where we'd have the best chance at a laker!

Who is "we" and where is the shop?  Do you rent kayaks and fishing gear? Just Jacksons?  At Lakeview or Ski Run or ???  Do you provide transportation to various spots around the lake?  To Fallen Leaf?  Mothershipping available? Are you licensed guides?  Open year round?

I guess I'm confused.  Maybe you didn't want to run afoul of the no spamming/overtly commercial posting rules?  You could always take a picture of fat macks or kokes with your shop in the background or something.  Dunno.

Crash, sorry for the vague responses.  We (Lake Tahoe Kayak Rentals and Lake Tahoe Kayak Fishing Team) are waiting for a response from the mods to find out what is acceptable for us to post.
The shop is at 1023 Emerald Bay Rd. South Lake Tahoe, CA. 96150.  Yes we rent kayaks and fishing gear.  We are also a dealer of Jackson Kayak, Accent Paddles, Astral buoyancy, Immersion Research, Tahoe SUP, Orion Coolers, and Boonedox.  Adding other brands as we grow, would love to hear from you guys what you'd like to see us carry.  As of right now Just Jackson Kayaks and Blue Sky coming in soon. Leaning towards Wilderness for the next brand to come in but will consider everybody's feedback before making that decision.

The shop is at the "Y" but we do deliver to various locations.  Yes we can deliver to Fallen Leaf.  Currently no mother shipping available but hopefully in the near future. We(shop employees) are not licensed guides but we contract out to licensed guides and one of our team fishermen is a local guide that works the charter boats. The team guys can often bring folks along as well, though not a official payed, guided trip they are happy to help out if they can.
Open daily April-October and by appointment the rest of the year.

Bear with us as we get our social media stuff rolling out and as we learn to appropriately to use the forums.

A little background on myself.  My name is Kyle Anderson and I am the owner of the business. I started the business in 2014 as a kayak delivery service, the first in the area to deliver and also the first to offer fishing kayak rentals. My passion for kayak fishing drove me to start the business so I can be part of a sport I enjoy on a daily basis. I don't get a ton of time to fish these days as I work 7 days a week but you can catch me out some early mornings and evenings. I hired my first employee a few weeks ago and hope to continue to expand but still do as much as possible myself as it has been a tough process, I'm enjoying it all very much though.  We are always happy to meet you guys and also pleased to offer a NCKA discount on both rentals and purchases.  Anyone is more than welcome to contact me directly on my cell at 530-314-3523 or on here with any inquires you may have.

Awesome Kyle thanks for the comeback.  There's a sticky somewhere about what is and what is not allowed for overtly commercial posts, sounds like you've already found it.  We like pictures of big fish around here if you are hurting for material to put in your posts.  We also like turtles, but that is a longer story.

Once you have 10 posts more of the forum will open up to you.

Congrats and best of luck in your business, hiring your first employee is a huge step!
