My dear friend Scott - THERE ARE NO FISH IN SANTA CRUZ....but I'd love for you (or anyone) to prove me wrong  :smt002 They simply don't exist......the last time I saw a fish pulled out from there was when Alex / Alien caught that big halibut just off the Pier during the Kayak Connection Derby a few years ago.....and ended up winning a brand new P15....I guess that's why I feel so bitter about that spot  :smt011 :smt002

And Scott, if you catch a legal halibut in Santa Cruz this weekend, I'll give you my Tarpon 160 - double hatch..................................................................NOT  :smt003
My dear friend Brian - you'll be lucky to catch a brown over a pound....but I'd love for you to prove me wrong  :smt003 Besides, you'll need to get up early to get into 'em  :smt002

paddle safe my bradahs.....

Papa Bill and I have a date with In & Out burger  :smt007 after fishing Del Valle  :smt002

I've got to get out there and catch a couple of fish now that I got my new camera (yes, I'm a bandwagon jumper...got the W30).  Maybe I could rack up a point or two myself.

Mooch, I'll give you a call later.

Joel,

I read the first half of the "catch a legal halibut", and was going to devote the entire weekend to the endeavor. And then you dashed my dreams.

By the way, I've found another yellow T160, with rudder, RAM mounts, fishfinder and seat, for $750 !!!  Cool eh!?!?

It's in New Jersey. Shipping would be $270

Cool! You getting it? I asked my buddy from Morro Bay if had any - or knew of any...he said no. But he said he'll keep he's eyes open.

I'm going to pass. Over a grand for a T160 is just too much, even with a cheapie FF.

I'm continuing my search...

It's a damn shame they discontinued the double hatch T160  :smt011

Right now there's only a handful of T160 double hatch owners that I know of...

Blue Kayak
JTF
Bungle
me
Stuart
Chris / Backslider
Kickfish
Tote

I know Chuck has one on the way.....I also know that Terry / H20 spider is looking for one as well....
