Down 20% off the average the past 4 years of 200.  By design.  I've loved the event with 200 participants and their family and friends, but I have gotten feedback over the past few years that people liked it a little more cozy.  My way of honoring that was to make it just a little less easy and clear about how to participate.  It's not about wanting to not include anyone - it's about trying to make it so that those who are coming are those who really want to be a part of it.  I am very happy with the group of people on the list. 

I just never realized how BIG this was is all. 
One of the nice things about GS is that it just feels like a family reunion.  Smaller groups form and reform as the day and weekend wears on.  I may not remember everyone's name, but it always seems like they remember mine.  And that feels great.  From the moment I pull in, I can barely get my truck turned off and someone is there to greet me and hand me a beer.  Such a relaxing time. 

Just put my order in for several thousand dollars worth of shirts and hoodies...  Looking forward to stuffing the bags in a couple weeks and tying up some loose ends in the meantime.

Will have a more complete raffle list soon, and if someone wants to start a potluck thread that would be great.  It'll be different without the taco shack - extra cobbler I guess!

Yes, unfortunately, there will be no tacoshack this year. but next year the shack is  gonna be bigger, better and generally more all around bad-ass.

Gonna miss ya man  , guess I only need to make a quart of crema sauce instead of a gallon this year  . Carlos started on the redesign of the logo and got side tracked real bad, this will give him time to step it up a notch. Good luck with the new job and have a blast on your family vacation.
