My family lost multiple homes in Redwood Valley.  We ran from the fire before there were evacuation notices- everyone made it out safe.  For now I am focusing on helping my Dad.  He is an xxl+.  A couple nice items that he will use for the next six months or more could be a big help.  I am now back at my rental in Vallejo but also work in SF.  Feel free to send me a personal message.  I also don't want to overwhelm him.

Thanks,
Joseph

PM sent. I will pack up clothes, dry food and canned goods tonight. I can meet you thurs, fri or sat evening. Im in Daly City but can meet you around the DC/SF border somewhere. PM’d you my cell

Who needs help?  I can probably come up Friday and stay through Tuesday.  I had some other plans (fishing), but this is more important.  Willing and able to do just about anything.

I'll shoot some funds over to PIF.  I'm in Sebastopol but working on the Coast Guard base in Two Rock.  Things are crazy with schedules right now but I can help where needed whenever I'm off work.  My wife is a State Farm agent in Rohnert Park and is up to her ears in work already with all the losses.  The fires are still spreading and I'm praying they don't head towards our place but the winds are forecasted to pick back up as the week goes on.

Maybe we need to have a running work list as things come up.  A list of folks that need help and their locations would make response easier.

Amy and I are bringing a truckload of good clean clothing and some pet food up to Santa Rosa this sunday.  We are still trying to figure out where to take it so it gets distributed easily, VK also said that Slackedtide lost his home, so I'm thinking a central place where we can help distribute what we are collecting.  So fart we have teh 4-runner filled up and might get some in the tundra as well.

Anyone know a place where we can all meet and do the most good in an afternoon?
Maybe have a small pot-luck and get some folks fed?

I dropped a ton of clothing off at the Vets building in Santa Rosa today. They are also taking pets supplies there too. Right across from the fairgrounds.
If you want to thank a Vet, be a person worth fighting for.

We are in East Windsor and ready to roll if the Tubbs fire decides to crawl over the hill.  Winds are pushing it the other way right now.  Hang in there everyone!

I got a very large comfortable couch a couple of people can crash on for a few days if they need. Plenty of food and beverages.

I could make room for an air mattress also.

Fucking crazy few days. My parents bailed from their place last night and stayed here. Went home this morning cause everything was looking good, now they're on their way back here because their house on yulupa is  being closed in on from two sides.
