Thresher looking for good locations

If your willing I'd like to pinpoint some good locations for the tasty
Thresher And maybe once the weather calms give them a try

I'm inn were at .im thinking april a spot I know when I went by hog island in tomalas bay there was a big drops across from Nick's cove that had huge marks I assumed thredhers

Thresher may congregate at times - Marin bite in 2015 was outstanding for a few weeks.  Otherwise, they are a by-catch of salmon fishing much of the time.

Best of luck. 

Best bet is May-July in that stretch between Santa Barbara & Ventura.

July was the month for us

Shelter Cove Threshers, August is the month. I've caught 3 there.

End of August. Was top lining for seabass . Near pajaro river. Wish it was from a yak !

The threshers made another appearance on the Marin Coast during the last few months of the 2016 salmon season. I got my ass kicked by one of them while I was salmon trolling. It bit a Watermelon Apex.

Gaviota  in July !     I sunk a gaff into one this last summer,,, but that was about as close as I got before losing it.... 

Good luck I have only hooked into them while trolling for salmon.
