I'm inn were at .im thinking april a spot I know when I went by hog island in tomalas bay there was a big drops across from Nick's cove that had huge marks I assumed thredhers

Thresher may congregate at times - Marin bite in 2015 was outstanding for a few weeks.  Otherwise, they are a by-catch of salmon fishing much of the time.

The threshers made another appearance on the Marin Coast during the last few months of the 2016 salmon season. I got my ass kicked by one of them while I was salmon trolling. It bit a Watermelon Apex.
