No personal experience (yet), but the biggest thing people complained about on amazon was that the seams leak. They don't advertise it to be water proof, and they even tell you the seems will leak, so make sure you don't put it in your car full of ice and fish. One review says you can turn the bag inside out to seal the seams with marine goop and it'll hold.

Other than that all positive things, and I have used one of their normal bags and really liked it. If you're using for rockfish or the like I'd put them in burlap before in the bag so they don't poke holes in the lining.

I like my icemule.

It doesn't leak and there are no zippers - it functions like a dry bag.

I have been really happy with my Sea Angler Inshore kill bag. I think I've had it for 3 seasons now, and it's still in perfect condition. It holds 5 lbs of ice all day long, and rockfish spines don't damage it.

This bag isn't sealed, so you still need a normal cooler (plus lots more ice) in your car to transport your catch.

I'm in the market for a fish bag too. Preferrably one that I can also stash inside the hull and doesn't leak.

Leaking is my prime concern.

I have this for one season, so far so good.  I supplement it with burlap bag just in case of puncture.  The zipper will leak, but the bag won't if you put it vertical. Most importantly, it will fit two medium/large salmon.  I am sure there are better ones out there, but I bought mine for $25 new .... got two :)

I got the same bag as Alex...the Sea Angler Inshore kill bag. Then reazlied that it leaked through the zipper so I gave it to Keith lol It's a great bag beside its not being leak free...liked how it unzip all the way so cleaning it was piece of cake!

i'm digging the ice cooler mule!! dang it I need to stop buying stuff lol

I bought this to put in the front hatch of the hobie outback

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00M9G9WHU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Then cut to fit. Its cheaper than the 60 dollars hobie want for their liner. I might still get the hobie liner since it has a better fit. So far I have stored my drinks and ice pack in there to keep it cold :) When RF start, I plan on tossing my fish in there with a burlap :)

I'll take a pic later on

The one I have is the "Inshore" bag, which I think is about 36"x20".

I keep it right behind my seat, like so:

This way I don't have to open my hatch every time I need to stick a fresh bait or stash some catch.

In rough water, its best/safest to avoid opening your hatch.

Did you get Sea Angler 36x20 direct from them or did you find it elsewhere for a lower price?

There's pro's to the leaking bags..   Ice melts faster when it's in water.      Think defrosting . you put an item in water, it will thaw faster than if in air.

I've got one from Surf to Summit.   Put a 7 lb bag of ice in it ,with a halibut.  Drove from Gaviota  for 5 hrs in HOT summer sun with it on the kayak ,,on the roof.  The ice did it's job.
Sometimes the fish isn't the only prize.
