Whew....  we are lucky that damn pineapple express (Jet stream) missed us! Enough water fell overnight on Felton, for a while!   Sadly my weather stations rain gauge crapped out on me last night, after temporarily  setting it up to monitor  these current storm, so I have to rely on the darn news for rain totals.
My creek is moving an impressive amount of water with a good flow right now!
Haven't had much wind (Fingers crossed)  yet so far.
Hope everyone survived with no property damage this time!

Lots of rain here in Vacaville/Fairfield, though I haven't checked the totals as it's still coming down. A lot of rural roads were flooded this afternoon, felt bad for some of those folks as I don't know if they can get to/from their homes.

The rain combined with the tide today made for some interesting kayaking though!

Hope everyone made it through with no damage, and if there's something I can do to help let me know!

My neighbor's mistress got her car stuck in the mud this afternoon, slid down a grass hill into a fence.  She didn't get out before my neighbor's wife got home.

Howitzer round confirmed hit in Humboldt.

We have been out of power for 15 hours so far.  We have had 4 trees fall and take out two fences.  Another fence blew down and branches are all over our yard.  So far the house, shop and garage are okay but that can change in a moment.  There is going to be lots of clean up when the storm calms down.  For the time being our internet is back but who knows how long that will last.

I left work early and cleared all our culverts on Friday evening. Loaded up on firewood and fuel, test ran the gennie, then sat back and had a Drake's Denogginizer :smt005.

Rain started in earnest Saturday afternoon and fell hard all day yesterday. Lots of slipouts and fallen trees, emergency crews out & about. In the end though we only lost power for a few seconds, so still no combat test for the gennie setup. A few big redwood spears came down, but no damage from them.

I think we got about 8 inches of rain?  It was an easy one for us on the mountain, but a friend on Hwy 9 above Boulder Creek has been without electricity since Friday.

Sounds like Bonny Doon squeezed plenty of rain out of this storm. D-mason.net has a weather station over off of pineridge. Good local weather info.

This is the front of my slab where park model usually sits overlooking the Sac.  Just 3 miles South of WG.  Too close for comfort.  Trailer in storage.
