Perception Pescador Pilot pedal drive kayak

Checked out the video. Drive fold away looks to be much simpler than the hobie for beach launch and landings . Raising up when going over kelp .

It is sealed for saltwater. Easy to raise up and not in your face whine is. Pedals very easy and is quiet. Seat is fairly comfy too. Should be available first of the year. I can get exact date soon. Should pedal to 5 mph and steady cruise at about 3.5-4.

That is a good price.

Was hoping for some negative reviews so I wouldn't consider it.  Definitely on my radar for first of the year ! Well, for at least a test drive.

I like the way the pedals just fold out of your way, and the propeller remains below deck level. Much cleaner than the helix pedal drive.

That does look pretty nice. No front hatch...but that might actually free up more space for your fish. What's the weight?

This looks attractive for a pedal drive .
Any idea how it does with the propeller in the salt with swell,  drift-harsher conditions than a lake?

About 85lbs with drive and seat.

I was actually thinking that's light if you consider the seat & drive might weigh 8-15lbs...?

That is quite lite for a drive-type kayak.  Perception kayaks are built durable.

It is sealed for saltwater.

This  will make it so much easier for lake inspections. Not having to worry about opening a hatch and the inspector finding some water residue.
