I am looking to modify crab traps to meet the new regs. I just called fishermen warehouse, they don't have it.

Anyone know where to find the rotten cotton ?

We need to use "untreated" cotton, that's what is posted in the reg. I don't know how a warden could test it.
I am sure we would be glad if they only give "warning" for the first couple times for this issue. I think a lot of folks are not up to date on this 5" escape ring and cotton twine.
