Just head south, you will see the first green can, then a red can, and if you go further south, you'll see another green can.  The fleet typically fish somewhere along those.  You need to know the weather and Kings Rock (stay away from this).  Fish around 60 FOW.

If you decide to go north by Maverick's green can, make sure you know what you're doing.  Don't take a short cut.

Hey Frenchie, I am hoping to make it out Sunday. I am also hoping to get out Friday and Saturday morning. I got to hit it hard to try to get some chrome into my kayak before the season ends.

Most of the fleet have been fishing East of the first Green and Red buoys.  Troll shallow 25-30ft. (50-70 pulls on Deep6) along the kelp line by the red and fish 35ft (70 pulls) East of the Red.  Krippled Anchovy at 2-2.5mph.

You can estimate the distance between cans by using Google Map.  Several notes:

1. There is a reef between R2 and G1S (see below)
2. The space between G3 and R2 are boat traffic channel, be careful.
3.  Follow whatever Str8FishiN said, he is the resident ace.

The 1st Green Can (aka G3) is 37.481448, -122.481476

The Red Can (aka R2)  is 37.473202, -122.483498

The southern most Green Can (aka G1S) is 37.464636, -122.469803

Good luck and please don't forget to post back a report.

Push the Waypoint button and change the coordinates before you save/confirm it?  On my Lowrance FF, I used "Trails" to map out the MLPA.  Youtube is a great source for FF settings.

You can't miss the buoys. They're very easy to see.

Here's a marked up Navionics screen shot that might help. If you don't already have it, you should get the Navionics app for your smart phone. Best $10 you'll spend.
