How the hell is this post on page 3 and the attention whoring girl dude has like 13 and counting. This dude here posts a great set of pics with fish and a sweet looking launch that makes me want to go fishing. Other dude posts a whiny bitch fest and BOOM.

Anyway nice pics and thanks for the report. Congrats on that cab too, it's been 3 years since I caught one that big in California.

That is difficult to reconcile, Doug. I was kinda wondering about that, too. Maybe we all need more Vitamin Sea for balance.

Didn't get my honey do's done so unfortunately I'm not on the water today[emoji37] . But decided to do my write up so I could relive one of my best fishing days ever. The Guzman and I pulled up to the Pacific Lake at 11:30 w/ only 1 other Truck in the parking lot. Sweeet. Got are stuff loaded, had a beer to calm the nerves, and paddled into big blue. We don't have F.F. so we just found a spot that we thought looked good. Once to said spot, Guzman hooked into 2 blacks within 10 min. I paddled out a little further and bam! 27" lingcod.  After that the bite was on. Then Guzman hooks into something that doesn't want to play nice (I think it was a octopus) This gets the attention of a power boat that decides to get between us and start fishing. After some explicit words, Guzman losing his fish and me landing a 34" lingcod, the bite was off and asshole left. All in all still a great day. We paddled in around 4:30 had a few beers, met up w/ a kayak diver who spoke very highly of the members of ncka, and a member himself, then headed home.My fish tally.
Cabezon 22.5" 8lb5oz
Lingcod  34" 12#5oz
                27" 7lb2oz
Released 2 lingcod 22"@24"
Lost 1 lingcod  at least 36" due to me being a dumbass and not having my net ready!
Vermillion 20" 4lb 6oz.
Released 2 vermillion
Pink rock fish 18" 4#
4 black and yellow biggest was 15" 2lb8oz.
I also lost my rod holder.

This is  the A- hole in the boat. If your in the area beware, he's got the whole ocean but will still fish between to kayaks.
