glad you were able to make it back safe!  if the woman wasn't around to help, would you have called CG again, or make one last attempt?

i remember last PIF, i stayed out longer than i should and had to fight that nasty wind back to MBK!

I am even more convinced now that I need to buy a second mirage drive to store in the bow of my AI.

Glad it was mostly a inconvenience (albeit serious one), Raydon.

From talking to the CG a few times, that only really happens if you do something extraordinarily stupid and piss them off.

Good it all ended well. We get a bit spoiled almost always having that NW onshore breeze. I've been out in other countries where it can get scary like your experience with a strong offshore. Well the fish are still out there as soon as you get your drive fixed!

Holy carp!

The leaky front hatch is a serious issue that Hobie should address.

Glad it turned out well in the end. If that is the kind of luck you have, I sure hope you carry a back up radio.  :smt006

Glad everybody is safe!

I fixed front hatch leak using this fix http://www.hobiecat.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=69&t=46308  and tightened ropes (tested couple of times now, works nicely).

Sooo glad it was a happy ending.  I thrilled to see you still have your sense of humor through it all.

ps..using my nickname /handle might be the reason the coasties went the opposite direction.....hehe

Even though the FUBAR gods had a field day with you I'm glad all ended well, Raydon.  All the more reason you're a NCKA hero.
