winds been pretty up the last few days.  drove through moss landing this morning and it was blowing hard.  stopped at bayside marine (sc harbor) yesterday after work and same thing, it's been pretty windy all week.  dunno if it's gonna calm down by tomorrow.  you folks still headed out?

Coral st is the easiest launch in the Montere area. Slide your yak five feet from the curb on the iceplant down the little wall and ten feet over the sand into the water. If you cant do this you shouldnt be kayak fishing. :smt005

Im still planning on going out tomorrow.  Winds are forecasted to die to around 6-12 mph.  What do the locals thing?  will it be worth it?

You could definitely roll from the hotel at Lovers point. Just be aware that between lovers point and the aquarium is a marine sanctuary, no take of anything, don't even cast a malicious gaze at the wildlife. Lots of good ground in either direction. Good deep water at the Red Buoy. Kelp beds in front of cannery row. Or the kelp beds of pacific grove. Its  worth scoping out the launch at Coral street though. The beach can be a bit hectic if the sun is shining at Lovers point. Keep an eye out for the Grey whales.
I only fish on days that end with Y

The LB Crew is still ON for Saturday, here is a shot of the crew! We launched at Pacific Grove beach and fished the open zone. Tomorrows forecast is, 3-4 foot swells with the wind picking up to 17 by 5pm. The fishing forecast is 96% EXCELENT! I hope to see ya out there!

I wish I could join tomorrow but I chose Sunday for fishing and Saturday for hanging with my fiancé. Does the lb crew do weekdays too?

Thank you also vermillion for the info.

Late to the party but I hope to launch out of the coast guard boat ramp and fish the kelp beds and possibly the red buoy. I did see some rocks on my fish finder in front of the MBK that is also a possibility!. My first time out here. Want to launch at around 600-630 while its not so windy!  Hope to see you all out there. I'm in the Green Hobie Pro Angler. Channel 69 give me a shout!
