Hey there,
I am planning to head out to the kelp beds in front the Aquarium tomorrow and will most likely launch from MBK.
Forecast looks pretty good and the in-laws want some fish. Last time out was pretty productive although there weren't any PB class fish, still had limits on RC.
If I make it, I will be in a dune colored Outback on top of a blue WRX. Will be on Channel 69. Down to hook up with whoever is hitting that area tomorrow.
Planning to park on the pier and launch from the beach there.
If the weather shifts, I will be hitting the beach near marina chucking flies for stripers and perch.

Tight Lines!

Thanks for the tips!  We paddled around cannery row and the red buoy thats far out front.  Only got one Sanddab, so we went to the yellow oil drum and caught 7 Rockfish and missed a pretty big ling that hit a rockfish on the way up.  Really fun!

Cool, sounds like you had a good time, Glad to hear it. We were at PG and it was a tough day. The pelagic crabs were thick in the bay. The fish were full and were bighting lite. We caught a bunch some nice fish but it took all day. I did have a sea otter try to board my yak... Hopefully we will get together and fish some time.
I only want to be the man my dog thinks I am.

I dropped a 6 ounce weight with 2 smaller hooks with squid.  This was by the red buoy in 100+ ft in front of the monterey aquarium.

HAHA, Fish101, that was me who you asked and the reason my face looked confused is because my name is Steve and I couldn't figure out what you were talking about.   :smt005 Slow day for me out there too.
