Note to self (and others who like sound advise) when launching, dont be between the kayak and the beach...

After landing.... dont run backwards with with bow handle... :smt011

I skinned my knee on the launch Saturday stung pretty good bled for a while... maybe helped catch fish......

After the landing I tripped and did a basic ass squat, on a rock...
felt the shock wave go up my spine. haven't been able to work till today... extremely painful back spasams. totally locked up when I get out of bed and begin to walk... here at work now where the office chair is easier to get in and out of than my couch, and the bathroom is a lot closer... getting better but still lots of pain.   :smt010

That sucks! Those take a while to heal too.
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.

I feel (or have felt) your pain. Heal up quickly.
If it's any consolation, it could've been worse.

Good reminders, don't do what he did!

That was you at SWS, right?
Saw your bloody knee and that's why I kept asking if you're ok.
Sorry to hear about your back.

Get well soon, Jeff.
