I was thinking of buying another one and I already own 4 of them.  My favorite all around rod.  It gets the job done on many types of fish

My son ordered a tiger stick lite jigging  rod last week and if I like it I am gonna order one. If that is the case I will most likely be willing to part with my 7' tiger stick standard. I have to check if it is med or med/heavy though but it's in great shape. I should know in a day or two

Cool. I also have a tiger lite, I like it for trolling.

We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.

I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.

People aren’t supposed to look back. I’m certainly not going to do it anymore.”

they sure do work good on salmon and rockfish charters too--light enough to bounce the gear and add action and strong enough to take getting bumped into and set in holders etc-- $4$ best rods made--warranty is awesome with them too

So whats peoples go to for dragging the dd and dodger for salmon?

20-50 or the 30-60... does the medium hold up fine or is the medium heavy better?

I've got one of the mediums. It's a solid, bomb proof rod. I think matanaska actually helped convince me to buy it.

A little warning, though... Before you take it fishing, you might want to check the guides closely. The first one I bought had a couple sharp metal burrs in one of the guides. Swapped it out for one that didn't have that problem and I've been happy with it ever sense.

I prefer the 6.5 ft, 15-40# Tiger (model #BWC2201) for salmon trolling.  The 20-50 and 30-60 are too heavy for my taste.

Any of those will work great. I also like using my 9' lamiglas with a diver sometimes.

There are better rods out there but for the price you can't beat the old ugly stik. I use a 7 ft MH single piece. I don't get worried when I get hung up on the rocks. It has the backbone to to straighten the hook or pop the split ring. I still use a uglystik that I got 20 years ago as a bass rod. It has been abused heavily and still kicking.
I only fish on days that end with Y

LoL, just order 2 or 3 of them - they are a bargain. :smt001
I have about 8 or so - for fresh and salt, really like the Tiger Lites, am about to order the 6'-6" TLspinning  for casting 1-2oz plastics.
After losing an expensive rod and other stuff to Davy Jones locker the Uglies are in the yak.

Uglies have two types of guides. Wire- guides and the thick ones as seen below. I'm guessing you had one of the wire guides?

I only buy the thick guided rods.
