Headed out MontBay opening week

     Headed out for a two day line and dive trip in Monterey opening week.  Any advice on some cheap places to stay the night and store the kayak?

Bring your camping gear and stay at veterans park.

Very true.  I was thinking abalone opens but not there so really confused me.  Oops forgot about line fishing. 

Put in a request for the 3rd off so I can leave early the 4th. Looking forward to getting in the water to shoot some fish.?And trying out the new rod/reel
