Looking for a guide sf bay

I am brand new to ocean fishing and would love to catch a halibut. I don't know what time of year is the best or where to go.  Just looking for a guide service to help me get started.

I don't know of a kayak fishing guide who does SF Bay halibut at places like ARW, but Santa Cruz isn't far off - Allen Bushnell / Bushy on NCKA is the man to talk to.

Best time is spring to summer, but every year a few butts are caught during Jan/Feb/March. I think Allen might do trips to certain spots in the Bay. I'd send him a PM here or contact through his site: http://www.santacruzkayakfishing.com/#2801

Yes, CCK now has CDFW licensed kayak fishing guides available.  Shoot a PM to James/"Rider" to discuss options for setting-up a trip if interested.

No float tube for me. The techniques work just the same from a kayak.
