GS10 Date Set - 5/21/16

Any else having problems getting a camp site?  I've called twice now, was asked if this was for the kayak event, told both times some guy, can't remember his name, would call back on Thursday and never does. 

My guess is that it's too early, Jerry.  They don't want to have to deal with stuff that's 5 months out.

The inns and hotels on the other hand will no doubt sign you right up.

Mario's has already been booked solid.  Dennis Shu reserved the whole damn hotel.

Yes you can.  And if you need someone to pu your swag I can help you out.  But I am sure you will be there as finals have nothing to do with the fishing only Saturday. 

Just a rookie but have been looking forward to this since fist checking out the 2015 calendar.  I'm No threat to make the board but sound like a great time on the lost coast!

I called Shelter Cove Campground again today and was promised a call back soon after I explained that I already had been given that promise. 

About an hour later, Curtis called and took my info.  He doesn't have a reservation map, so could only take my preference of spot I wanted.  I'm not particular; asked for anything between 5 and 17 (RV spots) with a particular of 7 if it is available. 

So, I'M IN!!  WhoooHoooo!!  I'm only able to make 3 or 4 of these events a year and I had a great time last year, even though I had to haul my fatassed Hobie PA14 up that hill.

What was the fee for the site or sites for you all ?

The fee is the same as GS9, for RV sites, 45.00 per night for 2 adults. I think last yer they charged 10.00 more per person if anyone else stays on the campground.
Fish n Brew has site 9
HobieDave  has site 10
ScubaLuis   site 11

Remember they only take reservations on the RV sites if you are tent camping is first come, first choice on camp sites.
