lets see your Wilderness Sys. rigged

I just got a 120 and I would like to see some of your rigging so I get get some ideas on where to put stuff and what you used in terms of components to attach various stuff like FF and GPS ect

LOTS of pictures of all makes/models of kayaks rigged.  Should be PLENTY of eye candy on here to get ideas from!  Most rigging isn't specific to a brand or model of a kayak.  Find what you need & want for ideas and adapt/apply as you desire.

I have attached two pictures, one showing my basic setup when I first got my 120 and the second showing how I usually have it rigged for fishing the river. I chose not to drill holes in my kayak, so I use my FF with the transponder hanging over the side of the kayak.

One of the things I love most about the 120 is the center hatch. I can store so much gear within easy reach (using tethers to keep things from sliding out of reach) that I don't need a milk crate and if the kayak flips over, most of my stuff is protected.

Word of advice.  Fish the kayak a bit before you start drilling holes & attaching items to it.  This will give you a better feel for the layout.  Once you decide what & where you want things, try & temporarily place things to get yet another feel for the layout.  Holes are forever

Is that GPS velcrowed to the center slot ?

If you are talking about my Fish finder it is mounted to a piece of cutting board and screwed to the deck. The wires on HB units go right through the bottom of the mount and into the hull.

Bungle - do you happen to know what year your's is ? My GF has the same style (before it went to the rear tank well style) and weve been trying to guesstimate an age on it.

Look at the serial number on the rear side near where the rudder is/would be. The last 2 digits are the year. The dual hatch were from about 2000-2005 or so.
