LOWRANCE PRICE DROP

I bought one. I had a choice between one with a gold Navionics or the insight pro card for $399. I went with the insight pro since I already own Navionics gold.

I've heard Navionics is more detailed and a bit better for navigation vs the insight.   What's the better option here?  I plan to purchase the Elite 5 sometime this week.  Can't pass up on this deal!

any difference in resolution on the 7 vs the 5? looking to replace my HDS-7 Gen 1 which doesn't give me the resolution I would like.

also, think you can get them to fix the rebate form? If I check one of those boxes, what exactly am I getting?  Do you see it?

I'm about to send my rebate out for the free Lake Insight Pro or Nautic Insight Pro map chip. Can you shed some light on which one to get?

I mainly fish Lake around Fresno. Might venture out to the ocean once I get comfortable or go with someone experienced. Thanks.

I'd say, get the one in the area you fish the most often.
