I use my Lexa 300 for rockfish.  I'm getting the 100 for freshwater fishing.

The HL (high speed) will work though I prefer the 300 with the power handle.

I'm not allowed to buy any more fishing stuff---i have enough for the next three lifetimes now

but for 60$ dangggg---I could take her shit for few days on that one

maybe can get someone else to buy and I'll give them the money--then just walk up and be like here--i dont want this  :smt044

just remember its a pretty small reel with only about 100yds of line capacity.  With braid you could probably get 150 yards though. That should work fine for most inshore fish, but there are better reels out there for that target.  I'm getting one for bass and possibly for trolling, but I have other similar reels that work fine too, like a shimano citica 100.

The deal was there quite a while ago. Pay attention that the right handed sold out, only left handed available.

i have the 300 and 100.  the 100 i use for fresh water striped bass/trout trolling running braid.  that's a good deal.  i did use it for rockfish once but the rod i had it on was too light for jigging heavy weights.

I use the 100 high speed for rockfish & lings. I'd suggest getting a power handle if fishing deeper than 80ft though.
