So the tendons around my left elbow have been inflamed for a couple weeks now, and just started going away. I have not been on the water for a few weeks and while paddling yesterday at Tamales, I realized paddling was the culprit.... Ive had a great run of work this summer and its not slowing down so I have a few extra bucks..... Im thinking revo 16...

Can't go wrong with a Hobie! Ben test ride a couple different models, you might like the Outback if you want more deck space?

Ill test them out but after reading old threads pretty sure I want a wave-cutter. Ive been packing lighter and lighter these days. I used to need a tandem for all the crap I use to use for not catching fish. Now I just need a few swimbaits.

You can try out Sara's Revo, my outback or my AI if you like Ben.  I'd think that the Revo 13 is probably a better fit though, but best to try them all out :smt002

If you want lighter, Revo 13 is lighter, the R16 is heavier, longer and harder to load/unload by yourself.  :smt001

Its not the dark side for those of us with upper body injuries.  It's just the only way I can get out without limiting my distance due to pain.  I hope it helps you like it did me.

It would be a lot easier & fiscally-responsible to look for a used Revo 13 or Outback, instead of a new Revo 16. That way you can figure out if you really want a Hobie, before dropping a ton of $. The transition from paddle to pedal wasn't real smooth for myself--and at first, I often regretted my decision. It wasn't until I had significant time in my Revo that I truly appreciated the benefits it provides.
