That's a classic kayak! I loved my T140s--and know some guys who still paddle the older style like this one. This is a 2008 model. Highly recommended for lakes, rivers, bays and ocean. One day I'll own another Tarpon. Sorry for the thread jack! Someone will be stoked on this yak.

No!! NO thread jack at all! you are speaking the truth! These have one of the absolute most solid and best tracking designs out there! I loved my 120 and 140 before I got on the deal line with OK... This has been sitting in a garage for 5 years with out one day being fished!!!

I have added more recent photos and yes, the custom crate and live well will be included! It also has photos of the scotty rod holder as stated in original post, its the nice one, not the cheap trout one... (bait caster 240 I believe?)

actually i believe it is a 2007, my old 2008 had the seat pad and the padded seat back, love these boats, still miss mine, and one day will probably bring another one back into the stable for "the way better half" :smt002, cameron

Thanks again, ya these really are trusty steads! Hence why I have been holding on to it, however, my lady is Prego again with our second boy (I am stoked of course). But she can't paddle or join me back in the water again for quite some time. If you you are into fly fishing, keep me in touch, I am super into the art of bug slinging!!!

Fastest plastic yak on the water. I have the same boat and it makes an awesome dive platform. My 2014 tarpon 160 is a turd compared to this boat in terms of speed. Good luck with sale.

I have the 160i version of that one. Yours is the second fastest on the water next to the 160i. ;-) Awesome kayak!

That is the only model that can be rigged with center mounted pelican dry box /forward seat which facilitates the bow mounted charcoal barbecue/bonfire pit. You can't do it with the newer models. I have 2 of them. They are bad ass boats. If i had the cash, i would buy it. it can also be rigged to carry 4 danielson crab pots, bouys and bait jars.

Didnt realize this wasnt the 160i. I also have the 160i and love it, even if it doesn't get used as much as it should anymore.

I like the older one too, but use the newer 160 because I should keep it in the publics view.  The "i" gets used when I need more kayaks as loaners, I use the old one.

Hey.  Is this still available?  I saw it on the SC craigslist and was excited to check it out.  Never got a call or email back.  What gives friend?
