Trinidad - Late August Salmon Season Got Hot - Got All My Vids Up

Finally some salmon back in Trinidad.  Now I'm not the only one who has scored there this year.

Hope its still going first week of Sept.  The North coast is in my sights for a 4 day weekend

Limit again today - best bite I've seen in a few years...

Grrrrr . Won't be able to get on the saltwater till next weekend.    But I'm spending some quality freshwater yak fishing time with my 2 teenage nephews.

Three days in a row - limited...  Fished with Brandi - she got a nice one and we released some fat silvers to 10 pounds as well.  30" ling bycatch.  Caught the same leader-eating 4' smoothhound 4 times in a row!

Still not ready to blow it up because the powerboats aren't even on it!  It's out of Trinidad...

This bite is HOT, HOT, HOT.  Get up here if you can.   

I would come up there if I didn't have out of town plans this week.  Glad you guys are into them.

Some of it is too dicey for a power boat.  It looks like they are starting to find it though according to a post on Humboldttuna.  I lost a small hot one after a good little fight.  Adrienne had 2 on and almost landed.  She will get her salmon tomorrow.  I was able to witness one of Cameron's salmon.  It was a scrappy fighter.
