Get on this if you can, but beware of changes that are always happening regarding the bite, the bait, the fleet, the weather, the trends, the temp., and word of what's happening at other nearby ports.

I trolled around for a few hours Wednesday morning at daylight looking for salmon, bait, or any signs of life, but the action was south of Camel Rock. They were catching pretty good when I had to leave for an appointment.  Mooching was the ticket.

Yep Sunday wet and foggy morning

Went out again today at 6:30.  Met wizz the 20 pound slayer on the beach, his electronics were not working so we headed out together.  Seeing no bait in close we headed out toward the fleet.  A short time later Matt lands a 25-26" salmon.  Matt drops backdown and hooks up right away with another salmon and this one is close to 20 pounds.  At 9:20 Matt is heading back in.

Rob shows up just as Matt starts heading in.  An hour later I get my first hook up and land a 23" salmon.  On the way back in I fill out my limit with a 27" salmon.

That was a good time, Terry. Thanks for being my "eyes" so to speak. 

Today I only caught one salmon and it was 15 pounds.  There was a thresher and salmon caught by other kayakers.
