Whats going on guys names hunter. I just recently made the big move from Texas to here in Sonoma, Ca. I have fished the Gulf Coast all my life. I dont have a yak, but was more or less looking for some guys to give me a little bit of a jump start on surf fishing for stripers and some halibut. i have given it a couple go's but nothing yet. Is this time of the year not good because of all the grass or is the grass a year around thing?

Welcome.  Usually folks go from California to Texas but I see no reason it can't work the other way around.  Hope you get some fish out here soon.

Thanks for the input Crash. Bigmarb1, I have fished out at Dillon and Doran Beaches but the grass is pretty ridiculous.

Doesn't the San Francisco chapter of the Hells Angeles have it as Frisco on their jackets. And ya I grow up on LL. Lol

Best thing about Texas is hwy10 heading west out of TX.
