Deals on Amazon today?

Anyone find a deal on Amazon's big sale today?

Another bear?

I did the gift card promotion ( buy a 3 pack of gift cards, get $10 promotional credit).  That's like free cash with as much as I buy at Amazon.  Other than that, didn't see anything worthy enough to jump on.

Prime day?

Yeah, kinda disappointing. It seems like a bunch of discounted crap items...like when you go bday shopping at Walgreens or the Dollar Tree.

Most of it was 'non name brand' items.  Swing more of this on there lately.  I too buy a lot on Amazon now rather than trudging out to stores.

Completed my Cards Against Humanity set today but not because it was Prime Day.

Yeah I had to come into overtime yesterday at Amazon on my day off for a 12 hour shift. It was dead, ended up sending 80% of the pickers home since it was way over hyped. Big company loss. Easy night for me though and easy money waiting for the Kiva robots to go down

I picked up a few things, nothing too special

Problem iveseen with Amazon lately is a LOT of bait & switch.  Advertise it as one thing & get an import knock off of the item. Happened several times to me this past year & had to return items because of it.  One item was stuffed full of Chinese newspapers and funky mold/mildew.  Took extreme precautions repacking that one to go back.
