disgusting and atrocious doesn't even begin to describe it. will probably never recover in our lifetime. glad they put a yearly bag limit and limit of 3 per day here north of San Francisco. didn't much like limit of 4 per day to 3 per day when new regulations were implemented. still don't like paying for abalone report card.
 if our grandchildren and great-grandchildren are going to share this resource it was a must and understandable.
