What kind of fish is this??? (It's a type of Ray)

It was about 25-30 lbs
Caught out of the bay in Southern Carmel.

Hard to tell from the pics, but looks like a skate to me.

Thanks rockhopper!  It is a skate!  I guess they are called "Big Skate" the ones I saw were always small.  This guy was decent size.  Nice, chop it up to another swimbait.

Yup, just a Big Skate. Cool fish none the less !

I think that is a Mexican Halibut...
