Just FYI, there have been some very promising reports of salmon along the Marin County coastline over the last couple days. The Outer Limits out of Sausalito had a solid score of BIG fish yesterday fishing between Muir Beach and Buoy 1.

I think I feel a flu coming on already. Cough cough hack...

Yeah I saw those reports on coastside too. About damn time they came near shore.

Buoy one is the one off of Duxberry point?

I need my damn fish finder back from the repair shop!

That's good news. Because it seems like the salmon are missing, or way offshore. Most of the comm guys are working up by Ft Bragg...I know of one who scored 70+ fish on Tues. Meanwhile the bite is heating up in the SLO area too. Here come the salmon!

I'm not 100% sure what they meant by "Buoy 1". They may be referring to the Duxbury buoy, which is actually "1DR", or they may have even referring to one of the channel buoys. Either way, the salmon are moving into the neighborhood.

Check out the Outer Limits Facebook page ("Fish the Outer Limits").

Watch for trends up and down the coast.  Heard a report of salmon caught in 80 FOW / 50 pulls off Bragg recently.  Still slow at the Cove as of yesterday and off Eureka and Crescent City still spotty/deep.

Looking forward to the Chrome Days of Summer.   :smt007

Yeah, it sounds like things are starting to shake loose all up and down the coast. Feed seems to be plentiful, and the fish are starting to find it.

Well, karma is NOT on my side today... Seven hours ago I joked about a "flu" coming on, and now I'm home from work early,  laying in bed with a 101.5 fever...

I wouldn't have been able to fish for a week or so anyway, but WtF?!?!?

sorry man. hopefully, by the time you're better and able to fish, the salmon will be located near shore in large numbers.
