CAPE MENDOCINO TO PT ARENA OUT 20 NM- CAPE MENDOCINO TO PT ARENA 20 TO 60 NM- 857 AM PST MON DEC 4 2006  .TODAY...N WIND 5 KT. WIND WAVES 2 FT OR LESS. NW SWELL 4 FT AT 13 SECONDS. PATCHY FOG.

Thought I'd get a late afternoon rockfish and crab trip today over at the Cape, but it was blown out again.   :smt012  And even though the swell was down, the water was utter mud from a 10' tide change, so I didn't even get in for nearshore spearfishing or baitfishing from the rocks.  I did get a chance to BS with Warden Mike for awhile though - it was nice to see him and he reminded me that he traded in his pontoon paddle boat for a couple of Fish 'n Dive's, so we're going to hook up next year for salmon at the Cove.
