Went fishing at Folsom today. I saw 3 people about 500 yards offshore struggling to stay afloat on their dollar store pool toys. I went over to see if they needed help. All 3 were too drunk to even hold on to my kayak so I could pull them in. I gave the worst one a life jacket. It took her 15 minutes to get it on at which point I knew I needed help. Called 911 and the Rangers showed up in a few minutes. They struggled to get them on the boat because of how wasted they were. I'm really glad I followed my gut and went over to check on them. There's no way they would have made it back without help.

Kids dont float.
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.

I only hope that they got scared enough to know they could have died!   Stupid!
Good on you for offering help.
