I know most will be at LS or Berry this weekend.... Anyone planning on getting some butts this weekend in the bay?  Tides may not be ideal, but don't mind killing some time on the water.  If not, then I'll probably hit up a lake.

Butt reports in the bay have been quiet lately.

I'm going to give the ol' but-chase a try this weekend.  I'm planning on drifting shiners from paradise park down to the cay with the incoming tide. Looks like the weather should be ok so it's a go for me. I've heard some promising news in the area from other boat anglers. I'll be launching around 10 with my buddy. Just called Loch Lomond and they will definately have shiners tomorrow also.

Driving across the Richmond/SR bridge the last two mornings there have been a few PB's and a couple commercial guys out. I've heard of a few butts landed off Paradise and the boats I saw over on that side were working the Paradise Cay end. Good luck!

Hmmm, I might make the 1.5hr drive up tomorrow from SJ.  Do you launch at Paradise Park?

Good luck on your Butt hunt.  Unfortunately I have to work this weekend!

Launching at paradise park, we are stopping at Loch Lomond bait shop to pick up some shiners. Let me know if you want me to get extra. I'm in petaluma so it's about an hour for me. I'll be on the water by 10 tandem red folbot and its marc and Jason.

be careful out there Ryan, the tide this weekend is a 0ft low tide and the launch area at paradise is pretty slippery.

so was the ARW one... LOL.

i'm beat, esp due to lack of sleep.  mike's didn't have any shiners today, so left over salmon bait was used.... bounced a herring off the bottom, for nothing.  Then went to BH anchovy swim bait (thought for sure I was gonna get hit), guess i was wrong.  when the current got stronger, went back to bouncing off the bottom, but this time with anchovy.  was out there 11ish to about 4:30.

johnz landed 2 today trolling ARW...

Coming back over the Richmond bridge today around 1pm I saw 5 boats working just south of the west side of the bridge out from San Quentin.  One guy on a SUP too!

While driving home brom Berryessa on Sunday, I was really surprised to see a dozen+ boats fishing the Susuin side of Benicia bridge, kinda by the old Mothball fleet area. Wonder if they were fishing for sturgeon or what?

Likely they were still getting on the Stripers.  That area is sick with 'em, and it's been a hot bite out there for a while now.
