not when there's halibut in SC   ( Santa Cruz )...     I'm going to head out tomorrow and see what  luck brings.

The halibut don't get closer until around April. That is usually the time i see bushy throwing his white swim baits around.

Ya never know...nearly all of the buoys in Monterey Bay have reported record high temps for February...some outer bay buoys are still over 60* which is crazy.

I've heard tell that 60 is the magic number for halibut. If so, it looks like it could be worth a try...
