Hello everyone, my name is Alexis I'm 40 years old, and I'm from Montevideo Uruguay.
He spoke Spanish, through a translator (http://www.bing.com/translator/) that communications in the Forum will be a hope that we can understand.

First I am grateful that they allowed me to register.

I am new to the world of the kayak, moreover I am still looking for information, to be able to make the best decision when buying it.

Come here looking for information about the Hobie Adventure, which I read in the post (http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php?topic=2931.0) even I could not find the second part... or the Dolphin photos!

Although this is a discontinued model, even to new market.
Around here they are very expensive kayak.
Within a few months I think I'll already have the money to buy it, the bad that's going to be winter and I have to also find some dry suit to try it.

If they have come here! Once again thanks.  :smt006

I've got a 2013 Hobie Adventure (no Island). I've done most of the usual modifications (rod holders and such) and some unusual modifications (front-mounted downrigger, custom crank arms).

If you've got any questions, don't hesitate to ask---lots of good info here...
Are you pondering what I’m pondering?

Many thanks to everyone for the posts.
SuperVato the Hobie I am interested in buying is Adventure (not Island) the island is a large, big-budget! Pity that from what I've read, this year is no longer marketed the "Island conversion kit v2"

PablitoPescador, it is good that we can interact with the Spanish.
So you lived across the pond! That's nice!!
If I live in Montevideo, and beginning my interest is to navigate, both rivers and coast.

In principle I think the Adventure being the most narrow and long, so it should glide without much effort. Also is the most cheap, since it is no longer available, but I think that it is equal to the Revo 16.

Deputy Hobie Mirage that are available in Uruguay, models are missing the PA that are on another page.
