Seam Im dealing with the same thing right now. Today. Im sitting here looking at Tessa and I don't know what to do. I am totally at a loss. Torn between life for her suffering or to just end it today. This is one of the hardest things ever in my life to decide on.

Im so sorry for your loss Sean. I know from the past the past the heart heals and mends but when the moment comes to decide, I would rather die than make it. I love you bro.
That's sucks craig, I have two pits about 12 yrs old and they are also slowing down.  Sad days to come I'm sure....pet ownership is a mo fo.......

I'm sorry for your loss. I had to put several dogs down. I think it gets harder every time, as they all have their own special thing. My Rott was the hardest, I could tell her how I felt, when I was Feeling bad. She saw me through several Panic attacks, when I couldn't breath. The last thing I thought about was how the dog helped me. And I believe I helped her when she had cancer. She was very uncomfortable I watched her go to sleep peaceful. You never know if your doing the right thing. But as one person said here how would you want to be treated. I once asked a doctor, what is worse the Cancer or the cure. This March I'm having a kidney removed due to a growth. And we will see how that goes. Craig I'm sure your love for the dog will tell you when. Sean you have to remember you may be united on the other side some day. No one gets out of life alive.
