My supposedly everything works perfect used OB sunk me into ocean when the rudder failed to launch down.
It's a few Yeats old and I see quiet a bit of slack on up/down lines and they don't operate smooth ly. Have you replaced the lines to make them reliable? Is the process quiet involved?

Does it have a separate t handle for both the up and down, or is the up and down operated by one paddle style handle?

I did my quest which has an early style rudder, it wasn't that hard.

Its a separate handle with the down on the right side.
I was able to adjust left/right turn but up and down is the problem. there is a lot of slack in the updown line normally, is that normal?
thanks

I'm clumsy fingered this morning.  Check to see if your rudder is sticking in the slot that holds it when down.  That was an issue I had with my AI.
