After a month of long work weeks, and finally hitting my deadline, I'm due for a break and decided to treat myself.  I'm signing up for 1 of the 3-4 remaining open spots tomorrow morning and heading down with Dustin.  Anyone else wanna slide in on this?

"They" are getting lots of YTs down south right now. La Jolla was on fire for a minute there. Not sure if it still is.

Wishing I could make this trip happen. I had a blast last year. I can only imagine what it would be like when the fishing is hot.

Two more days and the weather is lookin' suh-weet and multiple smallish YTs were caught on a kayak trip a few days ago.




    

FriWind W 10 kt. Wind waves 2 ft or less. Mixed swell W 1 to 2 ft and S 2 ft.
Fri NightWind W 10 kt. Wind waves 2 ft or less. Mixed swell W 1 to 2 ft and S 2 ft.
SatWind variable less than 10 kt...becoming W 10 kt in the afternoon. Wind waves 2 ft or less. Mixed swell W 1 to 2 ft and S 2 ft.
Sat NightWind W 10 kt in the evening...becoming variable less than 10 kt. Wind waves 2 ft or less. Mixed swell W 1 to 2 ft and S 1 ft.

If only I could have squeezed it in the schedule, but graduation and huge project with a non -negotiable drop-dead date, way too soon precluded it.

By the time it hit cabo, it was downgraded to a tropical storm.  The remnants are hitting right now with some moisture in the forecast.  Perhaps some of that slight south swell is coming from this.  Other than that, it will be a non-event by the weekend.
