After 3 years I've upgraded from an Elite4 to a Elite5 Chirp, I could use some in-depth info. I'm down for something beyond the basics, and somewhere on the SF peninsula would be ideal. I just stopped in at CCK's new location in San Carlos, and they have plenty of room.

Thanks
Iverfish

Just making final tweeks to the first of a year-long series of Lowrance seminars!  Tomorrow it is for #1 in 2015.  The madness starts promptly at 6pm!  If nothing else .... come hackle me from the back of the room!  :smt003

For those attending tomorrow .... see you at 6!

Final call ... off to S.C. in just a few to setup & grab some dinner down at the harbor before the seminar!

Good luck tonight!

Looking forward to some news about the Sac Town seminar! I am very new to all of this, and have done some research but having never used any ff I dont know if certain features really matter or not (such as structure scan). I think I want a chirp but from there i dont know.

Looking forward to any tips/training/seminars!

Had a fun night!  Had a couple kayakers in the group but overall it was a very mixed group of individuals which keeps it fun.  I kept it to 2 hours of talking this time  :smt003  By my count, I had between 20 & 25 people throughout the seminar & 3-4 people came for an hour before the seminar started to get some 1-on-1 info.

What's next?  I'm going to make a couple small "tweeks" to the presentation & announce locations in the Bay area & possibly Sacramento area SOON!  Due to the driving distances, these seminars will most likely be held on a weekend but I will do my best to shoot for a week night if that is preferred ... thoughts on this?

Thanks! :smt006

In Sac, I think more people would be able to do a weekend trip w/ some fishing before/after depending on the seminar time.

If I did a weekend seminar, it would be a late afternoon or early evening so everyone else could get fishing time in first.

Are you still considering Redding / Chico for all the State of Jefferson peeps ?   :smt003
Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.

Yes to all .... I've been SUPER busy lately.

Update:  It looks like the remainder of the seminars will be later in the season (thinking starting up again in late September).

Thoughts?

Awesome people!  I promise I'll get my head back in the game come later this year.  Till then, I have tunnel vision for Burning Man!

Already there  :smt002  Held several planning parties & build days at my house over the past few months.  Just had one this past weekend in a last ditch effort to get our "cougar cage" built.  :smt003
