Hello all...

I am making plans for the 2015 Lowrance Seminars and I would like YOUR input on this.  I will continue hosting these as long as I have people interested in attending these.  For 2015, one of my goals is to start hosting in additional locations.  I have two (2), possibly (3), additional locations to add in addition to our current Santa Cruz location.  These locations are not locket in yet BUT are looking to be:  Santa Cruz, Sacramento, San Carlos and maybe Sausalito.

I will be “replaying” the two existing seminars I have done previously; General Lowrance Overview & GPS basics.  For 2015, I am already working on a seminar on fishfinder setup/tuning/operation and [I believe] Mike (wingshooter) and I will be working on an Insight Genesis & Google Earth Seminar as well.

Beyond that, I am open to suggestions, ideas, comments, feedback, location choices, criticism, sarcasm & all round foolishness.

We will be meeting with some of the top execs at Lowrance, this coming Saturday, and this will be a great opportunity for us to share thoughts, ideas, etc. with them.  I hope to be able to share some of the pictures from LRC 2014 as well to share with them our passion of kayak fishing!  As always, we are here to support a brand we both believe quite deeply in and will continue to do so as we ring in 2015!

   Thanks!

Bill

Thanks Bill for doing these, I could use all the help I can get. If there is enough interest farther north of Sac. would you consider Redding or Chico ?, I will drive to Sac. no problem but I was thinking about the guys on the Humboldt coast.

Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.

I'm up for San Carlos or Sausalito.
El Cerrito perhaps?

Chico or Redding would be great for me.  I'd even consider traveling to Sacramento.  I have yet to install my Elite 4 so I have no "hands on" experience with it.  It appears to be a big step up from my X-4 Pro.  I'd also like a tutorial on my Linc-2 radio if offered.

I'll look into the Redding are as well.  I have an available location there I can use for seminars.  Maybe Redding rather than Sausalito?

I'm sure we can use the Headwaters Adventure shop too, and would be more than happy to hook you up with some time on the water to get some fishing time in.  :smt001

One thing I really can't stress enough in my seminars is the importance of updating the operating software!  The units don't always come with the most recent operating software available and the updates are FREE on the Lowrance web site.  These updates unlock more options, features, enhanced performance and even fix known bugs.

Be sure to check the version installed in your unit (general YOU implies to all Lowrance owners) and update to newest version!  Takes only a few minutes.

Thx for the tip on the software update too!

If thats the closest to the east bay thats available, I'd be down for Sausalito for sure.
I'd love to go to all theses workshops, but they're always at 6 pm on a weeknight in freakin sac or something, and that's never gonna happen for me.
